Monster Sanctuary kind of came and went last year which I found really disappointing since it's a fantastic monster-collecting game and a fairly alright Metroidvania as well. Just an absolutely amazing action RPG with great Zelda-style dungeons, a great story with excellent characters, sidequests that mix up the gameplay in creative and mostly engaging ways, great soundtrack, the works. I mean, it's talked about a lot for an indie title but it needs to be talked about more.
